The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a Sr. Lead, State Government Relations. Location of the selected candidate is flexible provided the location allows for effective and cost-efficient travel.
In this role, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of resources (staff and volunteers) necessary to establish and achieve heart attack systems of care through state and local American Heart Association field advocacy priorities. This role leads and directs staff to plan and execute issue advocacy campaigns and in collaboration with the field advocacy team. Additional responsibilities include providing and directing strategic vision and implementation for quality systems of care public policy priorities at the state and local levels through annually planning, managing, and orchestrating the implementation of a quality systems of care public policy agenda.
