The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a National Strategic Accounts Executive on our Corporate Relations teamThe location for this position is remote and flexible.

 

Expected pay range will be $200,000 to $225,000. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply. The American Heart Association reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range.   We offer a base salary with the potential to earn an incentive up to 25% of your base pay. The potential incentive is based on achieving certain revenue targets and triggers.

 

This role is responsible for leading and developing nationwide corporate relationships with new and existing corporate partners across retail and consumer products industry sectors. Responsible for ensuring a coordinated, strategic approach to significant corporate relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Acquires national funding and brand relationships with national and global retail organizations and consumer products industry.
  • Oversees collaboration on and integration of cross-functional subject matter experts into strategy sessions, consulting services, and meetings. Serve as Corporate Relations expert as requested. Ensures opportunities constructed are for the American Heart Association's health and science programs and products for sponsorship benefits. Oversees and approves the customization of programs to meet the needs of the sponsor.
  • Engages high-level donors, volunteers and corporate partners to achieve revenue and mission impact goals. Create opportunities of long-term value for our corporate partners that align their business needs, strategies and goals with the American Heart Association's mission.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Eight (8) years of experience in the CPG industry, including experience in sales or relevant experience in a consultative role within a national and global retail organization.
  • Comprehensive experience building business cases, analyzing market trends and identifying innovative business opportunities.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills allowing you to engage client audiences from multiple levels and industries.

Preferred:

  • Three (3) years of Retail Industry Experience at the Corporate Level 
  • Three (3) years of Consumer Products Marketing or Sales Experience
