We have an exciting opportunity for an intern on our Irving, TX Development Team. As an intern supporting our Go Red for Women and Heart Ball events, you will play a key role in driving the success of these impactful campaigns. Your responsibilities will include a variety of tasks that contribute to the planning, execution, and follow-up of these life-saving initiatives.
The American Heart Association’s Internship Program provides college students an opportunity for hands-on experience in various facets for individuals interested in gaining work experience with a non-profit, voluntary health organization.

Internship Overview:
Time Commitment: 20 hours per week
Internship Duration:1/21/25 – 5/2/25
Location: Hybrid Position – Intern must be based in Irving, TX or the immediate surrounding area.
Salary: $23.00 per hour
Internship Outcomes:
Individuals participating in the internship program are provided with an opportunity to:
• Assist with pulling reports and data entry.
• Research company information for prospects.
• Communication tasks with companies to keep them on event timeline.
• Help to find connections to lapsed companies which will include online research
• Assist with Hands-only CPR events.
• Planning and day-of support of events (gather materials, assist with set up, and provide support and assistance during the event).
• Assist Development Directors in gathering requested materials from companies as follow-up for company meetings.
• Develop event collateral for events, including save the dates, invitations, event programs, and more.
• Work with Event Coordinators/Directors to execute Run of Show for core events.
