The IT Asset Analyst role is responsible for developing standards for software solutions, analyzing and facilitating new software requests, and collaborating with Business Technology Solutions Managers, legal, and Cyber teams to ensure compliance. Additionally, this position closely collaborates with these groups to support new businesses and grants with unique technical requirements. Furthermore, the Asset Analyst is responsible for analyzing, identifying, and managing the lifecycle of BT hardware and software assets, determining optimal refresh and retirement schedules based on grant and special program needs.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the intake of new applications, working with the BSM to analyze the requirements and depending on the request vetting the product with Legal, Risk Management and Cybersecurity.
  • Analyzing and managing inventory assessments, audits, and managing the disposal of IT assets and ensuring tracking within our Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
  • Analyzes and recommends modifications or introduction to new software or procedures for operational efficiencies that increase control over IT assets, cost reductions and compliance.
  • Provides oversight and analysis of IT hardware and software assets across American Heart Association, International, RQI, and commercial technology sectors.
  • Developing and updating auditing processes and procedures and communicating changes to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates and leads a commitment to customer service; anticipates, meets and/or exceeds expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively; makes customer issues a priority
  • Responds to Technology Service Desk tickets and trouble shoots for client base. Provides solutions within service level agreements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of experience implementing, using and supporting enterprise asset management
  • 3 years of experience using Service Management System
  • Deep understanding of IT Asset management with a focus on hardware and software lifecycle
  • Experience accessing user software needs and recommending current standard
  • Experience using ITIL best practices
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to meet service level agreement customer service
  • Strong commitment to developing and updating software & hardware audit processes and procedures
  • Experience conducting software audits to ensure compliance
