We’re hiring a Temporary Development Coordinator in Little Rock, AR.

 

This is a part-time, temporary position required for approximately two months, through February 13, 2026.

 

This is an office-based position that offers a hybrid schedule in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, plan, and execute Walk Team goal-setting meetings for the Heart Walk event, including working with Team Captains.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with vendors or volunteers to implement logistics for the Heart Walk event.
  • Prepare, edit, and maintain fundraising materials and presentations as well as event collateral and marketing material.
  • Coordinate the vendor contract process for the Heart Walk event to ensure following American Heart Association best practices, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Travel will be required to events within Central AR and the surrounding service territory.

Qualifications

  • Three years of prior administrative support experience in a related environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization of workflow and calendars, verbal, and non-verbal communication with highly effective organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, and balance multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook).
  • Ability and willingness to travel locally throughout the territory.
  • Ability to lift and/or move large objects (such as boxes) with the expectation that heavier items would be broken down into smaller components, or requesting additional assistance may be required before lifting and/or moving.
