The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Brand Marketing Manager based out of our National Center office located in Dallas, TX!

 

This is a full-time, benefits eligible, grant-funded opportunity, with current funding through March 2028.

 

Reporting to the National Director, Brand Marketing, the Senior Brand Marketing Manager is responsible for leading development and implementation of marketing plans and campaigns for a portfolio of American Heart Association brands and initiatives.

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for leading strategy and execution of brand campaign plans, as well as analyzing, optimizing and reporting on results. The role collaborates with cross-functional team to develop strategic omnichannel plans that achieve business and funder goals/objectives and deliver consistent go-to-market execution in all channels. The position leads brand focused marketing planning, campaign development, implementation, execution, measurement and brand compliance for assigned brands and products to address business objectives, organizational priorities and advance mission impact, brand relevance and revenue goals. This role has direct report(s).   

 

  • Develops, plans and leads strategy and execution of multi-media brand marketing for a portfolio of programs, products or services. Identifies and plans positioning, associated marketing themes, and media channels that effectively reach and influence target customers. 
  • Documents and customizes marketing plans to maximize market penetration for product, program, or service. 
  • Works with cross functional teams or vendors to conduct research, analyze market trends and data to define targeted customer segments and determine marketing drives desired behavior for each segment. 
  • Creates a unique customer experience to achieve the desired brand image, business and 
  • funder goals and campaign objectives. 
  • Measures, analyzes and monitors the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and tactics. 
  • Communicates and presents modifications to increase campaign effectiveness 
  • Leads and coaches direct report(s), mentors and educates cross functional teams in marketing objectives. 
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned. 
     

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience 
  • 5 years minimum relevant experience  
  • Experience leading integrated, omnichannel marketing campaigns across web, email, social and media/advertising  
  • Experience in working with multiple vendors/partners (internally and externally) with critical timelines and multiple project requirements. 
  • Experience in strategic planning.  
  • Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational, and personal sales skills 
  • Ability to analyze data and interpret into narrative form 
  • Ability to work optimally with staff and volunteers at all levels of the organization 
  • Ability to think critically and tackle problems 
  • Ability to travel occasionally  

 

Compensation & Benefits

The expected pay range will be $90,000 to $110,000. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply. The American Heart Association reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range.
