We have has an excellent opportunity for Business Development Manager in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. 


This position will work in a hybrid setting (in office 2-3 days a week and as needed).

Responsibilities

This individual will play a lead role and will serve as a consultant, business developer, educator, and account manager in securing new and maintaining existing relationships with hospitals and health systems to maximize their engagement in the Association’s suite of Quality Improvement Programs (Get With the Guidelines, Hospital Certification, and RQI) and Professional Education programs in the MENA. The position will report to the General Manager of Healthcare Quality Systems, KSA. They will share guidelines in program adoption between customers and drive portfolio adoption and successful implementation, leading to long-term, strategic relationships and trusted embedment into hospital systems. Support the GM in managing relationships with the local ministries and government organizations. The Program Manager serves as the ambassador for the “why” and “how” behind the mission to save more lives and engages client leadership in joining the journey. Responsible for achieving the annual strategic plan and yearly sales goals to increase market penetration for the Association’s Portfolio.

 

This position combines careful planning, operational excellence, effective collaboration, and leadership. It improves the impact and accessibility of the Association’s programs. It also ensures alignment with organizational goals and regional market demands.  

 

Strategic Planning and Market Development

 

    • Develop and implement comprehensive program strategies aligned with the Association’s global mission and the KSA market needs.
    • Conduct in-depth market research to identify growth opportunities, trends, and gaps in ECC, Quality, and Certification programs.
    • Devise sales strategies targeting hospitals, healthcare systems, outpatient clinics, and post-acute care facilities to increase market penetration.
    • Identify and use digital tools to expand program reach and improve delivery efficiency.

Program Implementation and Management

 

    • Lead all aspects of the rollout of the Association’s programs, ensuring adherence to quality standards, best practices, and timely delivery.
    • Develop and present ROI case studies to prospective healthcare organizations, advocating for the adoption of the Association’s Quality Portfolio programs.
    • Facilitate the implementation of certification processes, including gap analysis, training, and compliance.
    • Monitor program performance through clearly defined KPIs, making adjustments as needed to achieve targets.

Stakeholder Engagement and Representation

 

    • Build and maintain positive relationships with healthcare providers, government agencies, regulatory bodies, and the healthcare sector.
    • Engage volunteer champions to support program delivery and awareness campaigns.
    • Address stakeholder concerns and provide timely solutions to maintain high levels of satisfaction. 

Financial Management

 

    • Assess and align program activities with the KSA’s healthcare regulatory requirements and local systems of care initiatives.
    • Collaborate with the General Manager to set and achieve goals, including certifications and training program enrollments.

 

Monitoring, Reporting, and Continuous Improvement

 

    • Collect and analyze data to measure program performance and impact.
    • Track and report on leads, conversion rates, and program adoption to ensure timely follow-ups and successful implementations.
    • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing enhancements in program delivery.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a healthcare field (e.g., Nursing, Pharmacy, Medicine, Public Health, Healthcare Administration), or equivalent work experiecne.
  • Three (3) years in sales development or program management, and/or relationship management.
  • Strong understanding of the KSA healthcare landscape and familiarity with C-Suite stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel and overnight stay.

Advantageous Qualifications:

  • Experience within a clinical/Quality healthcare environment strongly preferred.
  • Experience delivering education/training within a clinical environment.
  • Advanced degree or certifications in healthcare quality (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or CPHQ, etc.).

Skills:

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Project or similar.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to understand, interpret, and communicate data in the healthcare environment.
  • Ability to implement effective business-to-business marketing/sales plans
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot).
  • Familiarity with digital transformation and e-learning platforms.
  • Excellent written and oral communications
