The American Heart Association is seeking an experienced, results-driven Digital Marketing Manager, International, to lead global digital marketing initiatives that support our Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC), Stroke Education, and Quality Improvement programs.

 

This position can be home-based.

Responsibilities

This role is ideal for a highly motivated digital marketing professional with expert-level experience in both HubSpot Marketing Hub and HubSpot Sales Hub, a passion for demand generation and revenue growth, and the drive to build and scale marketing and sales enablement capabilities that support healthcare professionals, hospitals, and systems of care around the world. The role will serve as a key owner of the HubSpot ecosystem, helping align marketing, sales, lead management, reporting, and customer engagement processes across global markets.

Key Responsibilities:

HubSpot Leadership

  • Serve as the International team's subject matter expert for HubSpot Marketing Hub and Sales Hub.
  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, automation workflows, lead nurturing programs, landing pages, forms, audience segmentation, and reporting dashboards.
  • Design and optimize lead management processes, including lead scoring, lifecycle stages, routing, qualification, and handoff workflows between marketing and sales teams.
  • Build and maintain sales pipelines, deal stages, dashboards, reporting, and automation that improve visibility into revenue performance.
  • Ensure excellence in email deliverability, campaign tracking, CRM governance, compliance, user experience, and data integrity.
  • Create scalable marketing and sales processes that support international growth and operational efficiency.

Digital Marketing & Demand Generation

  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns for ECC courses, Stroke programs, International Quality Improvement initiatives, events, and product launches.
  • Partner with International Marketing team to develop digital strategies that drive awareness, engagement, leads, and revenue.
  • Manage marketing initiatives across multiple regions and international markets.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Develop dashboards and performance reports that provide actionable business insights.
  • Measure campaign effectiveness and recommend improvements based on data and market trends.
  • Establish attribution models and reporting frameworks that demonstrate marketing impact.
  • Develop end-to-end funnel reporting across marketing, lead generation, sales pipeline, and revenue outcomes.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Three (3) years of digital marketing experience.
  • Expert-level knowledge of HubSpot, including marketing automation, workflows, email marketing, segmentation, lead nurturing, lead scoring, CRM management, pipeline administration, sales automation, reporting, dashboards, and campaign management.
  • Experience designing and optimizing lead lifecycle management and marketing-to-sales processes.
  • Experience building sales dashboards, pipeline reporting, and revenue attribution models within HubSpot.
  • Strong understanding of CRM administration, data governance, and system integrations.
  • Proven success managing digital advertising, lead generation, and conversion optimization programs.
  • Excellent project management, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cultures, regions, and time zones.
  • Ability to travel 10% local and overnight stay.

Preferred Experience:

  • Five (5) to Seven (7) years of digital marketing experience.
  • HubSpot certifications.
  • Healthcare, education, nonprofit, training, certification, or quality improvement marketing experience.
  • Experience supporting marketing and sales teams through lead management, pipeline development, and revenue operations initiatives.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, CRM integrations, and marketing reporting tools.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary minimum to the midpoint of the range is $71,715.00.00 to $100,000.00. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials may apply to the pay range.
