We're hiring an Executive Director in Denver, CO. This position serves in a pivotal leadership role in the community, working with the highest-level executives in the Denver area, and is responsible for staffing the volunteer Board of Directors and encouraging volunteer engagement and development.
This is an office-based position with a hybrid schedule in a fast-paced environment, with the primary responsibility of driving revenue to support our mission.
The role provides strategic direction and management to a committed group of fundraisers and support staff. It holds overall responsibility for the revenue goals of our Heart Ball, Heart Challenge, and Go Red for Women campaign. As part of encouraging an engaged community, the Executive Director will participate in community and corporate functions that enable networking and the generation of new contacts to support the Association's mission and fundraising efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

Experience recruiting, engaging, and activating executive-level corporate and medical volunteers
Demonstrated track record in building effective teams of staff and volunteers, and in setting and achieving aggressive goals on a sustained basis.
Ability to influence others to action through creating a shared vision and sense of ownership and personal accountability.
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including large and small group presentations, group facilitation, and training. Skill in written communications, to include clear and concise narrative reports, evaluations, and similar narrative pieces.
Ability to read, comprehend, and analyze revenue metrics, as well as fundraising reports. Skill in the use of spreadsheet/database analysis.
The ability to travel locally daily requires access to reliable transportation at all times, on an immediate basis.
Basic knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office used for word processing, email, presentations, and spreadsheets.
