    The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a Vice President, Digital Content in our Digital Marketing and Content Syndication department based out of our National Center office located in Dallas, TX!


    This individual will be responsible for designing the user experience (UI/UX) and developing the content strategy for AHA’s primary web properties. Responsible for leading and executing the development and launch of new and existing website experiences. Responsible for leveraging user data (explicit and implicit) to develop and execute personalization strategies through Sitecore capabilities. Responsible for leading and managing a team of web content publishers, content managers and SEO talent. Responsible for establishing bottom funnel metrics, baselines and online engagement driving strategies. Responsible for cultivating and managing relationships with AHA cross-functional business units to integrate initiatives around digital strategies and web properties.   

    • Acts as subject matter expert on Sitecore CMS, leveraging data to deploy content personalization strategies
    • Implement personalization goals, create user profiles and personas in Sitecore
    • Consult on cross channel marketing initiatives that include web, email and social
    • Acts as product owner on major web projects in Sitecore
    • Work with inhouse data/analytics and marketing teams to set web performance metrics
    • Actively participates in sprint planning, product backlog refinement and sprint review meetings
    • Participate and provide project details, set sprint priorities and define business values during Sitecore intake meetings
    • Lead, direct website redesigns and major updates in Sitecore Content Management System to fulfill marketing campaign requests
    • Oversee and inform the user experience and information architecture strategies for new and existing websites
    • Gather and interpret web and Sitecore analytics data to inform web enhancements that impact organic traffic and site engagement
    • Ability to travel up to 20% local and overnight stay

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
    • Twelve (12) to Sixteen (16) years (sr. management)
    • Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Search Console and Google Tag Manager
    • Working knowledge of CMS (WordPress, Sitecore, etc.)
    • User experience design
    • Agile project management methodology
