The American Heart Association (AHA) has an excellent opportunity for a Business Development Director within our Western States Region located in Los Angeles, California.
Under general supervision, the Business Development Director is responsible for advancing the American Heart Association’s mission through the planning, management, and implementation of fundraising strategies in collaboration with internal and external partners to achieve overall team and region goals. This includes ensuring that revenue goals are achieved through developing new and cultivating existing relationships and driving revenue and health impact goals through effectively engaging volunteers, other partners, and staff across diverse opportunities.
This position is directly accountable for the Go Red For Women campaign in Los Angeles County and has shared accountability for achieving overall goals for the Los Angeles Division and the Western States region.
Due to the current pandemic, all AHA offices are closed and staff are currently working from home. Daily travel is minimal and voluntary to ensure the health and safety of staff. There is no overnight travel currently. In the future, this position may resume daily and/or overnight travel. Offices will be reopening in October 2021; this position will resume to being based in the local office.
