The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a Program Manager for our Telehealth Initiative in our Healthcare Business Solutions department! This position can be remote/home based but must live near a major airport.


This is a full time, benefits eligible, grant funded opportunity. Current funding will expire on 11/30/2022.


This individual will be responsible for leading and overseeing development, product execution, and marketing plans for the healthcare professional education platform (Telehealth). Responsible for gathering and leading development of content for telemedicine professional education platform products, acting as liaison to project management, as well as implementing market introduction and marketing plans

  • Provide operational leadership and execute plans for product development, business model set-up, and go-to-market introduction
  • Act as liaison and facilitate collaboration between development, marketing and sales teams to prototype and plan for successful product/program launch
  • Direct the RFP process for vendors and agencies. Review and manage Master Agreements and Statements of Work
  • Conduct and review market research for competitive analysis and measure product effectiveness and customer satisfaction
  • Oversee marketing planning and implementation including digital marketing and websites



  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Two (2) – Five (5) years of relevant experience
  • Experience with product or program development, management, or operations
  • Experience with healthcare industry or related marketing
  • Experience leading project teams
  • Basic knowledge of adult education and continuing education programs and certifications
  • Comprehensive written, presentation and oral communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize work assignments, be flexible in scheduling tasks, manage time effectively and meet deadlines
  • Comprehensive computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Demonstrated ability and aptitude to utilize trend analysis, research and other sources to turn data into actionable information
  • Ability to interact effectively and work collaboratively with both internal and external contacts at various levels
  • Ability to travel up to 25% local and overnight stay

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in Training or Telehealth Medicine
  • Ability to drive advancement of Health Equity
