Responsibilities

The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a Director Telehealth Strategy in our Healthcare Business Solutions department! This position can be remote/home based but must live near a major airport.

 

 

This is a full time, benefits eligible, grant funded opportunity. Current funding will expire on 11/30/2022.

 

 

This individual will be responsible for developing and leading the program platform for Telehealth education and certification. Responsible for building plans for product development, business modeling, and market introduction. Responsible for formulating ideas, conducting user and market research, creating business cases/models (including pricing, licensing, etc.), and developing product content and requirements.

 

  • Drive telehealth product development process, for both education and certification. Oversee strategic planning for current telehealth education and future telehealth education and certification programs
  • Lead collaboration with Operations, Sales, Marketing and other functional teams to ensure successful telehealth product launch
  • Collaborate with the American Board of Telehealth Expert Panel for feedback on product development and overall telehealth strategy
  • Ensure team develops and manages product roadmaps that align with business strategy and market needs
  • Engage with customers to gain firsthand insight on the programs and customer needs. Foster a shared understanding of telehealth products throughout the product development team and the broader organization



Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Eight (8) – Twelve (12) years of relevant experience
  • Experience in product development, product and market strategic planning, or product management
  • Experience in product management in healthcare field
  • Experience leading new product launch and sales planning
  • Basic knowledge of adult education, telehealth or continuing education certification and programming
  • Proven ability to develop product and go-to-market strategies, including managing all aspects of a successful product through its lifecycle
  • Superior project management, time management and organizational skills and the ability to quickly adapt to multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively to ensure adequate resources are brought to bear to meet client needs from throughout the organization
  • Ability to travel up to 20% local and overnight stay

 

Preferred Experience:

 

  • Experience in Training or Telehealth Medicine
  • Ability to drive advancement of Health Equity
