The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a Region Senior Community Impact Consultant within our Western States Region based in Central Valley/Kern County. This is home office/field based role and involves regular work performed from remote locations for business meetings and events.
Under broad supervision, this position will drive the execution of health impact goals around policy, systems, and environmental changes by focusing in the areas of hypertension, cholesterol, Type 2 diabetes, nutrition, women's health, tobacco and vaping, mental wellbeing.
The Region Senior Community Impact Consultant will effectively integrate population health strategies focusing on collaboration with Executive Directors, Development, Advocacy, and Communications & Marketing partners. This position will also serve as an internal consultant to the region/territory on community and population health strategies and trends with a specialized focus on systematic changes to drive health improvement across under-resourced communities.

Expected pay range will be $72,980 to $97,340. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply. The American Heart Association reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range.
